Golden Road Bike Tour/Bike Festival

Millinocket/Katahdin     

June 1 - June 3, 2007  

The first ever Golden Road Bike Tour/Festival will be held on June 1-June 3rd. The festivities begin with a "Welcome Bikers" gathering at the Hotel Terrace on June 1st.  June 2nd Tour Ride the legendary Golden Road, at 6:30 pm attend a concert at Veterans Park in Millinocket at the bandstand. June 3rd a just for fun 20 mile bike race. Come enjoy some good Food, Fun and Friends, in the Northwoods!.

East Millinocket Centennial

July 11th-15th 2007

East Millinocket's Centennial Celebration is planned for

July 11th - 15th 2007.

The celebration will be filled with many events including suppers, concerts, children's events, parades, fireworks and an Alumni Ball.

Wooden Canoe Festival

August 11th

Day long event, full of artisans, musicians & food vendors celebrating the history and artistry of wooden canoe making and wood product craftsmanship from Maine crafters.
