New front for the Katahdin Area Cultural Center
Schenck and Stearns High School art students painted the design in checker board fashion after local artist Marsha Donahue did a minimal sketch on plain white boards.
Now there are multi-colored pendant type flags flying on each one of the roof struts. Its beautfil!
The mural shows the four seasons of the
Katahdin Region.
Not much snow right now (12/18/06) but this is what it would look like if did have snow!
